Also very impressive and very adventurous to ski in the Thien Shan Mountains of Kyrgystan. First and biggest heli-ski safari was completed successfully in February and March 2008, by linking many heli-ski zones together through almost the entire country. These unique trips were never done before and are also not offered anywhere else. New runs, new places, first descents every day for weeks. This is the true spirit of Beyond Boundaries heli-skiing - out of the norm and out of the ordinary. Of course this all comes with a high price tag - some weeks we burned about 25 hours of helicopter time - and stayed in 5-Star hotels, with small teams of 4 skiers only - even if 15 skiers would find space in these magic dragoons MI8 - MTV. Teaming up with the Army is some times the only way to go heli-skiing in Kyrgystan!
