CANADA
Shortly after I finished my Austrian mountain guide exam and my level 4 ski-instructor licence I moved to Canada B.C for heli-skiing in this fantastic place. Now, 20 years later, I am still there to ski deep canadian powder and to enjoy the canadian lifestyle during the winter season. During this time I have worked with the finest canadian heli-ski companies while still holding an ideal safety record. I was lucky enough to be able to ski and guide in more than 15 different heli-ski locations all over British Columbia. Currently I am working with Last Frontier Heli-skiing in the northern coast mountains holding the biggest tenure available in Canada. Small groups - A-Star helicopters, good pilots, professional helicopter mechanics, canadian style accommodations and fine dining make this the first choice heli-ski place for many clients and guides. This is the right atmosphere to live my passion and guide skiers in these magical places. The terrain there is suitable for all levels of skiers, gentle cruisers next to radical steeps, perfectly spaced tree runs and also alaska style alpine terrain.
