After a long time of planning Beyond Boundaries were able to run a very successful - pure exploration heli-ski mission in Armenia at the end of March 2012.

Exploring a brand new place and putting it on the map of exotic heli- ski destination is the true nature of Beyond Boundaries Heli-skiing. The idea was to explore the entire country , all mountain ranges from the North all the way to the South while making first ski descents all along the way on previously untouched mountain regions. With some local support in regards of logistic we were able to pull of a very successful mission with all happy customers.

All went safe and sound with no surprises or accidents. Most landings happened to be between 3000 - 3800m. Approximately 30 first descents were made in Armenia during this week , close to the boarder regions of Iran , Aserbaijan , Turkey and Georgia. Total distance covered by helicopter was approximately 800-900km . Aircrew and local support team were truly fantastic. We also got a high dose of local - ancient history during out fantastic heli-ski week , a unique way to experience a country. This location will be on for future missions in 2013 / 2014 .
