Kamchatka Peninsular - the land of "Fire and Ice" surrounded by the sea is a must see/visit location for adventurous heliskiers. I know - it is very far away and hard to get to, but it is absolutely worth it. 10% of the worlds volcanoes are here in this remote region close to Alaska. Most of the time the skiing is taking place on gigantic volcanoes with a vast amount of ski lines of all levels - and some of these long and sustained ski runs end right up at the sea. The landing zones are around 2.000 - 3.000 m - some are on active volcanoes ... the smell of sulfur and the rumbling sound will make you shake in your boots. Super strong Russian made helicopters MI8 - MTV, operated by extremely skilled pilots and mechanics will guarantee for a safe trip in the magic land of Kamchatka Peninsular.
After a long day of skiing we usually soak in natural hot springs in the middle of nowhere to relax our tired legs and just to chill out. If all this sounds interesting to you please let me know and we can line it all up for you - see you there!
